Routes for road cyclists and mountain bikers are divided into asphalt roads, cart paths, gravel trails, single trails or really steep downhill lines for daredevils.
The magnificent Reinhard Schiestl Via Ferrata at Burgsteiner Wand rock face ranks among the most difficult via ferrata routes of the Ötztal Valley. You have to conquer an almost vertical, 200 meter high granite face equipped with steel ropes, clamps and footholds. There are also enough handholds and 3 rest areas. At the very end of the via ferrata you'll find picture-book mountain meadows and Haus Bergjuwel –
offering unique views of the Stubai and Ötztal Alps.
